These are some of the words used throughout this website to explain about the scrapbooking experience. Please take a moment to review them if you are unfamiliar.

Album: I will direct you to a website where you will be able to choose a special quality album just for you. This is included in the price quote. The sizes you may be able to choose from are 8 ½ X 11 or 12X12. The 12X12 albums are the current standard, but to keep down on price and materials, the smaller album works great!

Layout: This a finished, embellished page with your pictures attached and will be put in your album

Embellishment: This is something that adds just the right touch to your layouts. They may include stickers, paper piecing (explained below), eyelets, threads, fabric, die cuts, handmade borders, ect.

Paper Piecing: This is a complex embellishment that sometimes takes a while to make. They are very detailed works of art where pieces of paper are cut from a pattern and the pieces of paper will be put back together to form a complex and detailed character.

Punch Art: This is much like a paper piecing, but instead of cutting from paper from a  pattern, these are pieces that are punched using punches (much like a small die cut) and putting them together to form a work of art.
